My summer vacation

I'll tell about my experience in this summer. I went to Minnesota in this summer. I stayed my host family's house. My host family name are Monica and Doug. They have one dog and one cat. The dog's name is Arlo, the cat's name is Orbit. They are very cute. My host family always kind to me. They speak English slowly every time. They took me a lot of places. I went to MLB games three times. I could see Ichiro. It was very excited. I also met a lot of people. For example, my host family's family, friends and teachers. They were very kind to me. They sometimes asked me about Japan. I told them about Japan. I didn't have a feeling homesickness. I was happy that I met such a good people. I also went to Bethel University. Bethel was so big. I studied English and American culture. I had very good experience there.

Last Wednesday

I met my high school friends last Wednesday. Their name is Shihori and Narumi. They picked up me in convenience store near my university. Shihori drove her car. Her drive is fast. It's little scare for me. We went to Joyful to have lunch. I ate pork don. It was big so I was stuffed. After that we went to Karaoke. We sung a lot of songs. I sung Avril Lavigne's songs. It was very difficult to sing in English, besides her song is very fast. I want to good at singing song in English. After that we went to Kura sushi. Kura sushi is very funny sushi shop. We can play game there. It was very fun. Sushi was very yummy. I ate a lot of sushi. I like bream the best. I also ate a cheese cake. We can eat around foods there. After that we went to Tawara-mountain. It takes about 30 minutes form there. We coulds see beautiful night view. I had never seen such a beautiful night view in Kumamoto. I was happy to see beautiful night view. We talked a lot into Shihori's car there. After that we enjoyed to go drive. Shihori was very tired because she drove for a long time. I appreciate her. I had very good time with my friends. Drive was so fun. I wanna go drive by myself. I want to get my car!

My favorite place

My favorite place is You-me town. You-me town is shopping mall. I can buy around things. I also work at bakery of You-me town, so I often go there. You-me town has a lot of restaurants. I can eat anything what I like. I often eat McDonald's because it is cheap. Especially I like teriyaki-burger. I sometimes buy clothes there. My favorite clothes shop closed for renovation now. I want to go the shop early. Of course, I like my bakery. My bakery's bread is very yummy. If you go You-me town, I recommend come there. Also new doughnut shop will open in front of my shop. I want to go there early.

My favorite music is Simple plan. I didn't know them until before. I watched them on MTV for the first time. I heard "When I'm gone" then. This song became my favorite song of Simple plan. After that I listened to their songs on the YouTube. Then I liked all their songs. Also Simple plan's member is funny. I also like their personality. I bought their album before 3 month. Their songs are awesome! Especially I like "THE END". This song is very cool. I also like "I can wait forever". This song is ballade. It makes me heal. I can study English from their songs. I always want to know their songs means. If they come to Japan, I want to go their concert. It must be fun.

My favorite animal is dog. Especially, I like Japanese dog because they are very quiet. Also they are very cute. I like their figure. I've never had a dog in my house. My grandfather had a Japanese dog but the dog dead last year. I was very sad to hear about it. The dog was very good girl. She was always quiet. She generally stayed a shopping center because my grandfather run the shopping center. The dog's name was shoppy. She was loved by customers. I still like Shoppy. I also like dog's movies. I watched HACHI movie. Original is Japan but HACHI made by America. Main Character is Richard Gere and Japanese dog. I was moved to tears by the movie. I recommend this movie.

I had a lot of experiences in Minnesota. This homestay was my first time for a homestay. I had very good host family. They were very kind to me. Many first time things I had, for example swimming in the lake, canoe trip, yoga class, watching MLB games and more. I really enjoyed there. I also went to Bethel university. I learned a lot of things there. I studied about Minnesota history and American culture. A lot of teachers were very kind and funny. They spoke English slowly for us. I really appreciate them. I had very good experience in this summer. I'll never forget my first homestay. I want to talk with my host family fluently next time. I'll study English hard!

My favorite sport to watch

My favorite sport to watch is baseball because I like Japanese professional baseball. I support Chiba LOTTE Marines. This is my favorite team because I like a pitcher of the team. His name is Hiroyuki Kobayashi. He is so cool and good pitcher. I watch the baseball game every day. It is so fun. Marines belong to Pacific League. There are still many teams in contention for the League pennant. I hope that Marines top of the League when this season ends. I also watched Major League Baseball. I went to Minnesota in this summer. My host father likes baseball also. He took me MLB stadium. I was really surprised at the stadium is too big. It was so fun. I could see Ichiro. I want to go there again.

Wednesday and Thursday

I met my friends Wednesday and Thursday. I met my friends of KGU last Wednesday. I met Yumi, Ayano, Mie and Maya. We are all good friends. We went to "Sunz cafe" on the night. We gave a present for Mie because her birthday was September 7. She looked happy. We could eat and drink as much as we like for 2600 yen at the cafe. We ate a lot of foods. I like "pig pig fried rice". This dish's name is very funny. It was very delicious. We ordered the dish 2 times. We also ate ice. There were a lot of ices. I kept eating 2 hours, so I was stuffed. I was happy to eat much. After that we took a Prikura. It was so fun.
I met high school friend last Thursday. The friend name is Eri. We couldn't meet each other after graduate our high school. She works at dentist, so she is busy. I was happy to meet her. She didn't change. We went to our high school together. I met our teacher. He said to us "I'm happy to meet you". I was happy too. Our high school didn't change. High school brings me back old memories. I had very good time. After that we went to Yume-town. We had lunch. We ate Chinese food there. I ate noodle and meat dumpling. It was yummy but too big lunch for me. I was stuffed. After that I went to part-time job. I had very good time with my fiends this week.

Farewell party

I went to farewell party of part-time job last night. The farewell party was for Kaku-san. I was really sad when I hear that she leave my bakery. We went to "Kamado". It was very good restaurant. We could eat and drink as much as we like at the restaurant. There were s lot of Sushis, spaghetti and desserts. We ordered all desserts. We were stuffed. We talked about our schools and works. It was so fun. My best part-time job's crew is Megumi. She laughed every time, she is very funny person. She made me laugh. After that we gave Kaku-san some presents. We wrote messages to her. She looked so happy. I was glad to see her smile. She is really cute！ We leave the restaurant, we went to Karaoke. I sung 2 songs. We sung medley together. It was so fun. We always singing medley. 06' medley was difficult because we forgot 06' songs. Maybe, recent songs we can sing. We stayed there 2 fours. I had very good time. I really appreciate Kaku-san. Thank you！

I met very kind people in Minnesota, for example my host family, their family, their friends and my teachers. My host family are Monica and Doug. They have 1 dog and 1 cat. The dog’s name is Arlo and the cat’s name is Orbit. They are very cute. Monica and Doug like baseball very much. They took me a lot of places, for example different country’s restaurants, baseball and their family’s and their friend’s house. I like Monica and Doug very much. I also like their family and friends because we have never met before but they were kind to me. They sometimes asked me about Japan. I was very glad to have their kindness. I can’t speak English well but they heard my English seriously. I want to appreciate their kindness.
I had a lot of experiences in Minnesota. This homestay was my first time for a homestay. Many hast time things I had, for example swimming in the lake, canoe trip, yoga class, watching MLB games and more. Especially, I enjoyed watching MLB games with my host family. I always watch a baseball game in Japan, so I love baseball. I could see Ichiro there！Doug taught me about Twins. He explained to me about MLB in plain in English when we watch a baseball game. I was very fun to talk about baseball with him. So I could really enjoy watching the baseball game. I appreciate what they got such a great thickets. I also enjoyed yoga class. Monica is a yoga teacher. I went to her yoga class every Thursday. I had never done yoga before. I couldn’t do yoga very well. Monica taught me slowly. She sometimes helped my legs and arms. She is a really good teacher. Thank you for such a great experience!
I was really happy to meet my host family. My host family always helped me on my homework for the night. They taught me a lot of things, for example jokes, culture of America and English expressions. I could learn many things. I had very good time here through them. I really appreciate Monica & Doug, their family, their friends, my teachers and my friends! If I can, I want to come to Minnesota again. Thank you.
