Jessica sat at the kitchen table and gazed out the window.

Main character of this story is Jessica. One day, Jessica's town was raining hard. But she went to her school. If I were her, I wouldn't go school such a weather. I don't know why she went to her school. In addition, her parents didn't worry about her. I thought that this story strange. But Jessica took care her grandmother before she goes to school. Jessica's parents went to their work and Jessica went to school. Her grandmother stayed home alone. I thought that this is very danger for her. Jessica went to school and she was drenched with rain. Her class room's half empty. Maybe, almost student thought that it's danger to go to school. This idea is right. Jessica's teacher said, " These LA NINA　rains are really something." I know LA NINA because I learned about LA NINA during earth science in my high school. This is very danger phenomenon.
Jessica went back to her house, but she couldn't enter there. Because firefighter said, "You can't go in there. That hill is about to come down." But her grandmother stayed alone their! This firefighter said, "Checked every house." But actually, Jessica's grandmother still stayed there. Jessica entered her house and found her grandmother. Her grandmother slept there. I thought that the firefighter was stupid! He shoud looked around more! But Jessica was very brave girl. Jessica became her grandmother's HERO!
